Itinerary:
Day 01 (-): Beijing Arrival
Upon arrival at the Beijing airport, be met and assisted to your hotel by the Beijing tour guide and driver. The rest of the day is on your own to explore this capital city. Overnight at Beijing.

Day 02 (B): Beijing City Highlights
Today you will gaze across Tiananmen Square, and enter the Forbidden City where emperors ruled for five hundred years. Then you have a short hike up to Jingshan Hill for a commanding view over the Forbidden City. Afterward, drive to the old part of Beijing – Shichahai area, here you will visit one of the old courtyards, and have a Hutong tour by rickshaw, you will have plenty of time to explore this area to get to Yandai Xiejie and Drum Tower. Overnight at Beijing.
Day 03 (B): Badaling Great Wall
Today you will visit two of China’s most incredible attractions: the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. Accompanied by your guide, visit the best-known spot, Badaling, and marvel at the spectacular scenery that surrounds the Badaling section. Then, explore the Chang Ling Tomb, a magnificent Ming emperor burial site. Overnight at Beijing.
Day 04 (B): Beijing Tour & Flight to Chongqing
Morning visit Temple of Heaven, a place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest, and now it is a more place for locals for morning exercise. Afterward, you will visit the Summer Palace, originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty.
In the afternoon, your guide and driver will see you off at Beijing airport for flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival at Chongqing, to be met and escorted to the cruise. The Yangtze River Cruise boarding time is from 16:30 to 21:00. Enjoy a buffet dinner on board. At 21:30 your memorable Yangtze River begins. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 05 (B, L, D): Yangtze River Cruise with Shore Excursion
In the morning, wake up leisurely and enjoy different activities, like practicing Tai Chi on the boat’s sundeck, and drinking a relaxing morning coffee. Next, you will make a shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City, endowed with mysterious stories about the underworld, cruel tortures, and different kinds of devils and Chinese demons.
In the evening, you can choose to watch the show Feng Yan San Guo – War Fire of Three Kingdoms Show (18:00 – 21:30, Optional & Excluded, 290 CNY / person). Overnight on Cruise.
Day 06 (B, L, D): Three Gorges Cruise (B, L, D)
Today you will pass through the first two—Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, and make an optional shore excursion to White Emperor City (Optional & Excluded, 290 CNY / person), an ancient city overlooking the western end of Qutang Gorge.
Qutang Gorge is the shortest, narrowest, and most dramatic. The Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty, forest-covered mountains, and cliffs so sheer that the sun barely penetrates the precipices. Transfer to another vessel for a relaxing excursion through the attractive gorges of Shennv Stream. Enter Xiling Gorge, the longest, and the deepest of the Three Gorges. Overnight on Cruise.
Day 07 (B): Yangtze River Cruise & Flight to Shanghai
End your memorable Yangtze cruise with a visit to the Three Gorges Dam, largest and most magnificent hydroelectric project in the world. Afterward, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for the flight to Shanghai (MU5394, 17:35 – 19:25). Upon arrival at Shanghai, to be met and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at Shanghai.
Day 08 (B): Shanghai City highlights tour *Max 8 hours
Morning visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, which documents the changing face of Shanghai and is an essential visiting point for those interested in the evolution of the city. Next, take a leisurely walk on the charming Wukang Road which was a special premier living quarter and retail district for expats in early Shanghai (from 1849 AD until 1943 AD).
You will browse hundreds of old European-style buildings, apartments, villas, boutique shops, and restaurants of a wide range of culinary styles standing among the ultra-modern architecture complex. It is a significant window into the city’s up-and-down history. Next, visit the Oriental Pearl Tower at the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudong New Area by the side of Huangpu River, opposite The Bund, which makes it a distinct landmark in the area. At last walk along Shanghai Bund and Nanjing road, getting close to the local modern life. Overnight at Shanghai.
Day 09 (B): Day Trip to Suzhou *Max 9 hours
Today you are going to visit another Heavenly City – Suzhou which is famous for its classical gardens and water towns. You will head to visit the Humble Administrator’s Garden, which is one of the four great gardens in China along with the Summer Palace in Beijing. Afterward, you will visit the Tiger Hill, before heading to visit Pingjiang Road, an ancient road along an old canal, enjoy the ornate water-town style architectures, marvel at the bustling streets, and savor local snacks. Overnight at Shanghai.
Day 10 (B): Shanghai Departure
Your guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel and drop you off at the Pudong Airport for your flight home.
